Photography II Photos
For this project we had to take two photos that have a unique perspective and two photos that have unique lighting or contrast. My two perspective photos both show a perspective from below looking up and have leading lines. My two lighting photos both show a strong emphasis on the subject. Overall I like how all four photos turned out.
For this assignment our class had to take two choice and two landscape photos. For one of my landscape photos I took a picture of a bridge and it has a deep depth of field. For my second photo I took a picture of a flower on the edge of a lake and it has a narrow depth of field. My two choice photos both show contrast between the subject and the background. Overall I like how all my photos turned out.
For this project we had to take two choice photos and two photos that showed childhood memories using movement. I was able to capture the perfect photo by adjusting my shutter speed. For my first photo I adjusted the shutter speed so the baseball would show movement while the sunset would also be a focus. My second childhood photo captured me riding my bike on the bridge, and the shutter speed was set to have me be in focus. Overall I think all my photos turned out how I wanted them.
Describe: In this collection, we had to draw four words out of hat. Then we had to take two photos, that each show a combination of two of the words. We also had to take two choice photos. My four words were Asymmetrical, Frame, Close, and Accomplished. I combined asymmetrical and close for one photo, and frame and accomplished for the other.
Analyze: In all of my photos I used variety and Emphasis. There is a variety of shapes and sizes in each photo. I also emphasized something different in every photo, to draw your attention to a specific object. Interpret: All of these photos mean something different. The photos I took were based off of one assignment, but were taken in a variety of places and each have different meanings. Evaluate: My picture of the plant is asymmetrical because the subject is on the left and there is open space on the right. There is also a picture of me holding a trophy, and it is seen through my lacrosse helmet (a natural frame) the helmet helps provide context for the photo. My two choice photos are a little different, but both are good examples of form. |
